We are delighted to share our ongoing commitment to reducing single-use plastics in our guest rooms. As part of this initiative, we have made a significant decision to eliminate single-use dry amenities, taking a bold step towards a plastic-free environment.
We understand the importance of preserving our planet for future generations. By removing single-use plastic amenities such as toothbrushes, combs, and shower caps from our guest rooms, we are significantly reducing our environmental footprint. Instead, guests can request dry amenities by calling room service or visiting our friendly team at reception.
As part of our ongoing efforts, we have made the proactive decision to move to large format amenities, replacing our single-use plastic common amenities with eco-friendly pump dispensers throughout the hotel. By eliminating single-use plastic bottles, we are significantly reducing the amount of waste generated by our operations. This commitment aligns with our dedication to environmental stewardship and reflects our ongoing efforts to improve sustainability in all aspects of our hotel.
At Mantra on Salt Beach the housekeeping team separates bottles and cans and takes these to the recycle centres to be recycled. In addition, we have taken a number of steps to further reduce our waste footprint.

Mantra on Salt Beach acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the Bundjalung Country, on which we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past present and future; and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
At Mantra on Salt Beach, we strive to accommodate the diverse needs of all our guests, including those with mobility challenges. We have specific accessible rooms which have walk in showers, with rails and seats.
All of our apartments feature wide doorways and corridors, allowing for easy navigation with mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers. The open-plan design ensures that there are no barriers or tight spaces that could impede movement within the living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms which have walk in showers.
We understand that external access is crucial for guests requiring mobility assistance, and we are happy to arrange for external ramps to be provided upon request. These ramps ensure smooth and safe entry and exit from the apartments, allowing guests to enjoy their stay with peace of mind.
Additionally, our friendly staff are available to assist with any specific accessibility needs or requests to ensure that every guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay with us.
